This is not meant to offend anyone, but to open a discussion point regarding our views. Whoever cares to discuss the purpose of humanity and life, and how various religions, philosophies and different ways of thinking weigh in, is invited to participate. I thank those who take the time.

I personally envision a belief system that leaves open all possibilities, but I must at this
point discuss mine. I am a fan of Mother Nature and things scientific. After all, a rock is a rock, a tree a tree, the sun is the sun and the sky is the sky. Trees do not grow upside down, at least not on their own. Physics can be trusted, as gravity alone proves. But there is much left to learn. We have only exposed the tip of the iceberg.
Our understanding of life and of things beyond our knowledge is in need of further research. For example, there was a time when popular opinion had it that the earth was flat. Folks that thought different were by some considered heretics. Thus is my argument for keeping an open mind about all things. There are those that argue that the moon missions were a farce – maybe. But circling the earth
has occurred and been witnessed firsthand by too many people to be of issue. It is fact. I have personally witnessed the International Space Station circling the earth, on time as scheduled, in the exact right place and at the correct velocity. The earth is most definitely not flat.

Our creation and purpose are perhaps beyond human comprehension. In my opinion, there is not a person on this planet, including myself, qualified to tell anyone who or what god is or gods are and why we are here. If you think you know, without a doubt, I beg you to reconsider. Again, the earth is NOT flat. Yet.

All we can do is revel in the adventure of discovery, and savor it. That in itself is a beautiful thing and maybe it is our ultimate assignment from whatever has caused us to be.

We have been given the gift of truly amazing brains that think, and bodies that have tremendous abilities. It is my human opinion that it is our duty to use these brains and bodies to the utmost
levels within our grasp. It is simply our responsibility. I do not think it is evil to have that thought.

For us to challenge and question each other and enjoy our journey along this exhilarating path of exploration and growth is human, no matter whatever put us here. Questioning things, discovering things, and leaving our minds open to all possibilities seems proper. Someday I may come to believe the earth is indeed flat, although not likely. But if you can present a convincing argument, I will have to ponder it.

We are human beings, not robots. Whatever put us here, and whatever our purpose is, please relish the challenge of decreasing our ignorance on the subject.

If a divine presence babysits us and controls our every move, why were we given such talents
of mind and body? It does not make sense to me. That way of thinking would have us be puppets. It reduces the stature of us, and our higher universal source. I don’t want to be a puppet, but rather a sentient creature that knows right from wrong, good from evil, and can conduct myself in a worthy manner that would make the powers that be proud to have put me here. This of course assumes that
something out there even knows of me on a personal, caring basis. If that last statement is in error, so what? I am still human and can think for myself. My personal thoughts and actions do matter.

I may be way off-base and perhaps you can shine some light on the subject. I am willing to listen to an intelligent concept different than mine, but not simplistic rhetoric to cram down my gullet. There are so many ways of thinking, which one if any is right? They can't all be. Or can they?

I invite you to speak for yourself.

Thanks,
Admin@12notes.com

Hi there Preston - I just heard your interview with Mike Clelland and I sooo enjoyed it. I am a life long experiencer and I am soo over all teh crap about hostile aliens - hearing your pov was a breath of fresh air. I ahd heard of your books before but never read one - now I am keen ! I so enjoyed the interview I watched your videos on Youtube and wrote a post about your take on these beings.

Rather than share my experiences, here's a link to a 5 part video I did on one of my encounters from Jan 2011 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na4M15XbCvc&feature=plcp . I would be happy to talk at any time. I've had contact with 27 races and in recent years conscious contact. I've yet to meet a hostile alien. I have also been healed by them and given ''opportunities for healing''. I am also close to someone who worked in a secret project as a psychic - working along side Earth based aliens and as a profiler/compositor - finding them when out of jurisdiction - so I now have a more rounded view of the phenomenon.

I love what you are doing and how you tackle this subject !
Keep up the great work, Bright Garlick.
