What are people saying about Preston Dennett's books? Read below to find out!

"Onboard UFO Encounters (Average 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon)
"In this fascinating new book, respected ufologist Preston Dennett takes a look at one of the most fascinating aspects of all: the experiences of those who claim to have been taken on board the craft. Some of the accounts are absolutely riveting and they are all written in the same informative and readable style that Preston is noted for...The one thing that Preston has done is taken each account verbatim and these range from a Special Forces Air Force officer who was taken by greys, to a girl who really did have ‘monsters in the closet’ and also the touching account of a British experiencer using the pseudonym, ‘Gary’ who remembers many of his encounters. The stories in this book provide a firsthand look at what it’s like to be inside a UFO and meet extraterrestrials face-to-face and overall this can only serve to enhance the
existing canon of information on what is still a most controversial subject. Unreservedly recommended."
--Brian Allan, Phenomena Magazine
"A real good book...some crazy stories."
--Paul Aguilar, Truth Defender Podcast
"This powerful book is full of remarkable stories of deeply personal experiences with the UFO occupants."
--Mike Clelland, Unseen Podcast
"Amazing...required reading for those exploring this topic…Insightfully, intelligently, and thoroughly researched. Very well presented and pleasant to read. Author is clear about his sense of what may be going on, but leaves the reader to reach their own conclusions."
--Andrew Steenbergen, Goodreads
"Thank you, Preston. You did a fantastic job telling my story. You are an extremely talented writer. The way you retell stories is riveting. Everything you wrote is absolute truth. I should know, I lived it. You knew I wasn't making this up. I love you, dude!! Always, Lynnette."
--Lynnette, Amazon
"Another great read from Preston Dennett. Perhaps his most compelling, with interviews that reach deep into the abduction experience. Every interviewee offers a heartfelt account of his or her experience that touches upon recurring themes as well as new and confounding evidence. It is one of those 'can't put it down 'til I am finished' reads. I highly recommend this book for the seasoned legions of people with abiding interest in the topic and neophytes still learning to navigate their way through the fascinating topic. Good work, Preston."
--Megan Breen, Amazon
"An informative read, recommended! ...I have read several of Mr. Dennett's books, but this one was the most interesting so far. It was important for me that he provided a detailed explanation of his expertise, so I could evaluate him as an author (where did he obtain his information and experiences from?) This is especially important when you have a topic like this, that is not presently scientifically accepted or proven. If you are interested in UFOs, I believe you will find this book interesting, and will feel that you learned more about this subject from Mr. Dennett's writing. There are experiences that help confirm what others have reported, and new experiences to me. I found that reading this book helped confirm some of my own experiences. I think it is also some of his better writing, and that he lets the stories tell the tales themselves. So yes, I think people interested in UFOs will find these stories engaging! If you are looking for a final answer about UFOs, that is not here or anywhere else in plain sight, in my opinion. But this book will give you a broader view of the subject, and of how fifteen people have reported experiencing it...I found the reporting/storytelling to be straightforward, but also often intriguing."
--Mike R., Amazon
"I guess what I appreciate most about Preston Dennett’s Latest Onboard UFO Encounters is that he just tries to ‘tell the story’, without commentary, so that the reader may simply read these accounts on any level—from that of pure entertainment all the way up to wonder and even awe!"
--Chip E. Lakewood, Amazon
"Troubling and fascinating...I love this book. Reading it was like slowing down as you drive past a car wreck: you're afraid you're going to see something horrifying but you can't look away. If you've ever wondered if you've been abducted or just want to know what it's like, this book answers some of your questions and raises a hundred more. I was going to read a few pages to see if I liked it but finished the whole thing in one sitting. (OK, lying on my bed with my cats and occasionally a lonely husband.)
--Cindy KQ, Amazon
"This book contains some of the most fascinating UFO stories I have ever read. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in UFOs and the paranormal."
--Eugene K., Amazon
"These stories are the real deal...Wow! I loved reading this book! Could not put it down. These people affirm everything you hear and MORE! UFOs and the grays are everywhere and have been here for centuries. Then there's the scaly lizard people. Yikes! Steven Spielberg should do a movie from this book."
--Linda Jordan, Amazon
"This was a very good book. I really like the way the author presents the material. Sounds like he is kind and respectful to the people he interviews. Very grateful they shared their experiences. I think their information and feelings help us all who are trying to figure out what on earth is going on. I’m looking forward to the next book!"
--Midwest Mom and Wife, Amazon
"Very readable and intriguing stories of people's encounters onboard UFOs and the sensitivity shown by the author makes for engaging reading. Highly recommended."
--Amazon customer
"What a book. I've read tons of books over the last 30 years. This one rocks. Some of the accounts are downright scary, even unrelenting. I got angry while reading of few of these accounts, due to incessant harassment of the humans by the darn grey aliens. Wholly believable...very interesting, creepy entertaining."
--SD Ponder, Amazon
"I have read many books by many authors on this subject...this book is truly unique. All the stories are new to me, and each story has us as readers something new to learn from the experiencers or abductees...I absorbed every page."
--Linda, Goodreads
"I liked this book because instead of focusing on just one visitation and drawing it out into one book, it is fifteen short story episodes that give differing views of the same subject. At the end the author gives a summary wrap up of each person's encounter comparing similarities and differences...Fifteen very interesting UFO encounters."
--S. Huston, Amazon
“This is a fascinating piece of work, the format of fifteen accounts is great.”
--B., Amazon UK
"I think I have read everything relevant on the subject of the aerial phenomenon, otherworldly life forms and the ultimate possibility of anything beyond what we know; or have been told to know. Years of lurking in book shops to see what was in the paranormal section to the invention of the internet which has blown the topics available to the curious, wide open; I am completely astounded at this reading. This book without exception tells stories never heard before and has a subject matter within the stories I have never read before. If you are following the trail of seed/breadcrumbs/Yoohoo bottle caps/Lou Baldin...then this is the next one to help point you in the right direction. If there is a direction."
--Amazon customer
"A MUST read! Author is giving to us a PROFOUND glimpse of what is in store for humankind if we continue to be receptive to the education being afforded us by the Others. These testimonies lay out the deeper dimensions of consciousness as a “tool” to explore and enter into all of reality. Excellent book!"
-Always Seeking, Amazon
"An interesting read...I loved this book. Unfortunately, for me it was a little too short. I wish it went on and on. The author has a way of telling stories that I really like. Every story was different, was easy to follow and get immersed in. That being said, that doesn't mean that everyone will like all of the stories equally. I know I had my favorites. If you are into UFO and alien literature, give this a read. I really do recommend it."
--Tom Wayne, Amazon
"I have purchased all of Preston Dennett's books and I enjoy each one. He presents his research in a sensible, practical, yet interesting way. These are not sensationalized UFO encounters, but carefully researched accounts from numerous sources. He lets the reader come to their own conclusions."
--Magick4, Amazon
"Very interesting book and I learned a lot from the collection of encounter stories. This book was a class in itself for what I learned; thank you to the brave Souls who came forward to tell their own experience and to the author!"
--Zengirl, Amazon
"Highly recommended. Very interesting, informative, and some hilarious encounters. I praise these people for coming forward to reveal their experiences. I plan to read it a second time."
--Carolyn Gargis, Amazon
"Very informative. Made me want to read all of his books. I've read lots of books on this subject and this one rates high. The encounters are described very understandable and you pine for the not so nice encounters that these people suffered."
--Lea, Amazon
"Interesting stories, the book was easy read, fascinating how people can survive the ordeal they been through. They are very strong people! Thank you for sharing your events, and Preston getting the information in a book!!"

Schoolyard UFO Encounters
"Schoolyard UFO Encounters is a must read book for anybody interested in UFOs. I've been reading UFO books since 1952 when I was nine years old and this is the most fascinating book on UFOs I have ever read. Preston Dennett is an excellent writer. All of his accounts are well written. The book is well organized. His documentation changed by view of UFOs and aliens from space. There must be something to all of his UFO accounts. His theme is that aliens from space want us to know that they are aliens by presenting themselves to our schoolchildren. The book is a revelation of the activity and purpose of some aliens from space. If you don't read another book about UFOs and alien visitations, read this one. I found the book truly enlightening. Preston Dennet really gets five stars and an A for this book."
--Michael Menkin, Amazon
"This is a most refreshing account of encounters that rarely make the news, so well done to Preston Dennett for bringing this valuable resource to the notice of the public."
--Brian Allan, Phenomena Magazine
"I was surprised at just how many schoolyard UFO encounters have taken place and honestly had not heard of the cases listed...As far as I am aware there isn’t another book of this type that is dedicated specifically to schoolyard cases so Preston’s work provides a timely release. Having now read the book it is hard to deny the obvious, that some UFOs are clearly drawn to children and specifically to schools, where they congregate. There are simply too many cases, in so many countries around the world where events occur that are so similar in nature, that it can’t be mere coincidence...I believe Preston’s book will act to whet the appetite for researchers to delve deeper into these strange playground encounters which is to be applauded. What the book and Preston also makes clear is that it is probably only the tip of an iceberg and that there are many other cases simply waiting to be discovered. Many will lie hidden in long forgotten newspaper archives going back decades, perhaps centuries!...Schoolyard UFO Encounters presents a valuable addition to UFO literature and I highly recommend it."
--Gary Heseltine, UFO Truth Magazine
"I find any paranormal type true story involving children tends to be more credible because children don't know how to lie. I was fascinated with the Ariel School in South Africa schoolyard UFO alien encounter, and I didn't realize there has been so many similar school encounters, until I read this book which seems to be well researched and well written. I purchased as a gift for a UFO fan cousin. She likes it, too!"
-- Allen F. Blaine, Amazon
"Very interesting. I never heard of anything like this before and I follow the subject closely. if you do too, you may enjoy this book. I'll be done with it soon and will be passing on to my friends, who share the interest too."

"This is a great resource for first-hand accounts of UFO and extraterrestrial encounters. The descriptions of the events are incredibly detailed which really help you visualize each encounter. The details of the Ariel Elementary School event are amazing."

"Was surprised by the number of adults and teachers who have seen the objects near schools. It astounds me that more attention isn't paid to these credible witnesses. An enjoyable read. Surprised at the number of school related incidents that I had never heard of. Having read plenty of UFO books, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore this subject."

"I enjoy Preston's books, they are succinct and easy to read. Packed with good info. Many new accounts I wasn't familiar with. A new must have for your UFO library."

The Healing Power of UFOs
"This book is certainly a unique and significant contribution of a seldom recognized and researched aspect of the UFO encounter phenomena. It should be added to every ufologists library!"
--Brent Raynes, editor Alternate Perceptions Magazine
"Excellent. Simply amazing. I've read a lot of UFO books and this one is a Classic. Some of these healing stories are inspirational and expansive."
--Terry S. Bogner, Amazon
"The Healing Power of UFOs is proof that humans are being healed of health problems by non-humans. Let's assume that 50% of Americans accept that there are extraterrestrials. Fewer, I am certain, would accept that ETs have come to Earth to cure us of our health problems. That is precisely the theme of Preston Dennett's book, The Healing Power of UFOs. Mr. Dennett cites hundreds of situations wherein ETs have healed us. You may not believe that ETs are correcting the medical problems of humans now, but after you read this book you will be a believer. This is an excellent composition, one you'll have difficulty putting down."
--Frank Hill, Amazon
"A well researched, thorough, well written alternative view of aliens...This book has healings listed by type (Eye, Arthritis, Cancer). I enjoyed reading different interactions and view points of the people telling their story. An alternative view of Aliens other than the militaristic fear based viewpoint. Enjoyed reading the book, stories were interesting and the persons telling them obviously believed them and had results that were unexplained. One of the more curious was regarding a man who grew another set of teeth at a very old age after an encounter. The book is large so you really get your money's worth. Good addition to my library."
--Sami, Amazon
"This is the first book ever that gives a comprehensive history of UFO healings, and it is fascinating to read. It starts with a thorough history of over twenty five UFO investigators who have researched UFO healings. The book continues with 300 true accounts of healings (for many different illnesses), and also includes animal healings, and miraculous healings. Dennett always does meticulous research for his books, and writes about little known aspects of the UFO phenomenon. This book has twenty eight chapters, with 534 pages. There are additional chapters including: a Conclusion and Analysis, a Chronology of UFO Healing Cases, and Footnotes and Sources, for further research. Dennett explains that the extraterrestrials (ETs) use many different types of healing methods, including: light beams, injections and operations, and he discusses if the ETs motives are "altruistic" or if there "is something in it for them." The "indication" that some governments have UFO healing technology, and are using it, is also explored. "The Healing Power of UFO's" is the only book of its kind, and it should be read by anyone who wants to know more about the types of UFO healings that have occurred, because this subject has not been widely publicized. The reason behind UFO healings and the technology involved needs answers and more scientific research to find the purpose for these healings...Highly recommended."
--Jeanne Coppola, Amazon
"Love this book. This a HUGE Thick book with tons of stories of encounters with aliens and UFOs. I love this book. You can pick it up and start reading from the middle or look up your medical issues and find out what happened to others who had that but were healed by aliens."
--Loy, Amazon
"A great book. This is a very well-written compendium of healings by type and category. It is worthy of being in a research library. That being said, the cover is rather goofy for such a well-written compendium."

Undersea UFO Base
"There can be little doubt that the subject of UFOs in general has become engrained into the psyche of the general public, most individuals dismiss the reports as either imagination or misidentified natural events, but a few dedicated individuals like Preston Dennett have pursued the subject and unearthed good evidence that something very strange is afoot. In this new work, subtitled ‘An In-Depth Investigation of USOs in the Santa Catalina Channel’ the author presents the results of ten years of research into examples of USO (Unidentified Submerged Objects) reports based on more than seventy sighting and eyewitness testimonies and presents evidence that something genuinely inexplicable is occurring below the surface of the sea close to the southern California Coast. It’s all here: reports of humanoids and strange lights and objects emerging from the sea and flying off (and of course the other way round). There is also evidence in the book (which is illustrated) that there may even be a permanent undersea base of some kind where these objects are concealed and chapter seven goes into some detail about this possibility. The book contains reports; some of which date from over a century ago, and all of them seem to point to one thing: this area is very special indeed and one has to ask why, what makes it such a hot spot for the kind of phenomena repeatedly seen here? The answer to that is here as well, which makes this work a real joy to read (and learn from)."

"Hi All, I just purchased this book after listening to Mr. Preston Dennett on the KGRA Radio-Podcast "Don Ecker" UFO Radio Show. After listening to the interview, I had to buy this book! I have in Southern California since the 1960's and did not know how much USO's and UFO's took place in California, especially sightings that took placed on the coast. I was also amazed of all the USO's and UFO's over Santa Catalina Island, just off the coast of Southern California! WOW! Just what I heard Mr. Dennett tell of incidents and of witnesses, including a whole Boy Scout Troop that was camped out on the Island and what happened to them is another reason I bought this book."

"I liked this book. An even-handed treatment of sightings in the California area...so many good, rational accounts of sightings from reasonable people should be impossible to dismiss as mistakes! This, I believe, is the truth..."

"An excellent book. I have several books by Preston Dennett and this one is probably the Best. Well written and well researched, it takes only a few pages to realize there is something very strange going on in the Santa Catalina Island area. Compelling cases with very credible witnesses. Great read! If you are into unexplained mysteries, don't miss this book."

"This book is really interesting. I looked forward to reading it after reading Volume One and Two in this series...Each chapter is illustrated, but the illustration for chapter seven was so beautiful that I would like to frame it on my wall...I especially like chapter three, Alien Gifts, because it gives detailed accounts of people who got gifts from aliens that were mysteriously confiscated by officials or disappeared...If you are interested in learning more about UFOs and aliens, I recommend this book, as well as Dennett's Volume One and Two in this series."

Inside UFOs: True Accounts of Contact with Extraterrestrials
"Outstanding. I couldn't put it down."
--Patrice Sheridan, KGRA Radio
"A terribly good book."
--Whitley Strieber, Dreamland Radio
"It is always a real pleasure to read accounts of new cases of ET contact, rather than the usual rehashes of tired, hoary old cases that have long since lost their relevance. This new book from long-time researcher Preston Dennett brings a welcome breath of fresh air to the field with this carefully chosen selection of brand new encounters that cover just about all the bases as far as contact is concerned. It’s all here, unnerving high strangeness type encounters by ordinary people from all walks of life with Grays, 15 ft tall insects that look like Praying Mantis’s, but (fortunately) appeared friendly, humanoids and Nordics, each account more remarkable than the last and what all of these tales clearly demonstrate is that there is little or no difference between what is described here and the paranormal. One element that seems to run through each account is the bizarre ‘Oz Factor’, especially when the encounters involve missing time and actual close contact with, well, whatever they are. Are these beings the fearsome demons of old and have they been here since the beginning of time, or are they something else? That is for the reader to decide, but overall this well written and researched book is a welcome ray of light into an often closed and mysterious world, go and buy it, you won’t be disappointed."
--Phenomena Magazine, Issue 96
"I have been reading books about UFOs for 50 years, and always my favorites have been the ones that consider who/what is driving these craft, and what's inside of them. This book really delivers on that score! At least 10-20 pages of details on each of the cases, all face-to-face encounters of real people with many different types of ETs. I loved reading about the 15-foot-tall praying mantis with eyes the size of basketballs that seemed to 'ooze intelligence.' Great stuff! ...This book is full of details."
--Dr. Robert Hieronimus, 21st Century Radio
"This is an excellent set of personal experiences. This is a difficult topic to try to understand, and these stories reflect a wide range. There is very little "editorializing" in these accounts, just the strange events told in nice clear prose. Well done Preston! Highly recommended."
--Mike Clelland (author of, Messengers)
"Interesting, well-written histories. I read the book in its entirety the first night, it was that absorbing! Some of these stories could be researched and fitted into a book-length form...I would definitely buy that book, too!"
--Debbie McClelland, Goodreads
"I just finished reading 'Inside UFOs' by Preston Dennett. Wow, what a read. At once exciting, terrifying, and extraordinarily heart-wrenching. Preston weaves a narrative with the experiencers at center stage. With each chapter, a reader is taken into the life of an individual, for whatever reason, who has been included as a piece in the frightening puzzle of abduction. Well written with a clear and concise narrative, this is a book for all who maintain an interest in the phenomenon. The takeaway is 'be careful what you wish for.'"
--Megan Breen, Podcastufo.com
"I have read books about UFO sightings and contact for years. Most books rehash cases that I am very familiar with. This book was a surprise in that I have never read about any of these cases before. I thoroughly enjoyed it from the start. Especially touched by the story that included the words from the aliens that state God will provide man with whatever he needs to succeed. Recommended to new and old readers interested in this subject."
--Patricia Clark, Goodreads
"This was an interesting and enjoyable book. And it was a very fast read. It contains 10 accounts of human and ET interactions. Each account has their differences, but also similarities. What I find disturbing in the UFO books I have read so far, there is constant warning of the future of mankind and our world, all due to our actions. I wish people would heed warnings and make the needed changes before it's too late. This book, although short, was very well written. The author has written numerous books on this and related topics..."
--Stacey, Goodreads
"I trust Preston, and considering this all true has sweeping implications. I love how personal and heartfelt these stories come across, there isn’t any hype, it is more matter of fact. These people aren’t trying to sell you anything, they are doing their best to report what happened. I really love the first story about the meeting with the Mantis ETs. I cant get that story out of my mind. Particularly interesting is that the Mantis seem to understand that their appearance matches Hollywood Sci-Fi stereotypes, and they see some humor in it (you will have to read the book to see what I mean). That first story alone is priceless. It has me really thinking about my own "racism": could I see a Mantis as a brother instead of a creature to be feared? I sincerely hope that we all can all get beyond that fear, because if this book is right, we're going to need to. Racism of man against man seems trivial by comparison."
--David Lynch
"Very few writers could have pulled this book off. And if it wasn't written by a leading UFO writer and researcher, I probably would have given it the grand go by. Preston Dennett is responsible for a large body of down-to-earth UFO research and I think this book is a excellent example of his due diligence in researching reports. What attracted me to Inside UFOs, was the claim that the 10 featured true accounts of UFO contact, written up in this book, were new and were never published anywhere else. I wasn't disappointed at all. Each in-depth case proves to be quite puzzling and thought provoking in there own context. I have no problem that Mr. Dennett tends to use the Extraterrestrial hypothesis as the explanation to these mysterious encounters. He is, after all, basing it on what the experiencers and abductees he interviewed told him. From the horses, or rather ET's mouth sort to speak. I really enjoyed reading this book...Important UFO contact cases you haven't heard of."
--Bernieo, Amazon
"This was not a book about "science" and absolutes, this is a book about 10 individuals who have had their own personal experiences - which have so far, according to the author, have not been published elsewhere - with UFOs and ETs and the strange and paranormal events (both positive and negative) that are commonly intertwined. Dennett is essentially presenting this material as "in their own words" and with the notice that there is little or no "proof" to explicitly back up all of the contactee's claims, but - having done the interviews and met the people - Dennett believes these people are sincere and truly believe they have had these experiences...While the book is fairly short, I appreciate the lower price. I also give kudos to whoever did the proofing/editing, because I did not run across any obvious typos, which seems to be commonplace with both commercial and private publishers these days, and can be distracting."
--Truth Seeker
As an "experiencer" myself, I find it hard to even fathom would-be critics who say things like, "there is nothing to substantiate that any of these events truly occurred"... These people do not really want to understand the phenomena; they want to pass judgement on the people. How do you "substantiate" telepathy, multi-dimensional beings, paranormal events, etc? Even for those who may have been "lucky" enough to have a recording or photo of something related to their experience, it is very easy these days to fake things. What I look for is commonalities, which I found throughout the book: telepathy, paranormal events, multi-dimensional beings, being "taught" things that you can't remember ["but will, when you need to"], warnings of coming "Earth Changes" and/or disasters, losing friends and/or loved ones because of one's experiences, substantial "spiritual" and lifestyle changes and the every present question, "why me?"
"Many new accounts I've not read before. I must recommend this book to anyone who has a serious interest in the UFO alien subject. I've collected quite a few books on the subject and this one will be a great addition to my library."
---PFE, Amazon
"Another fine book from Mr. Dennett. I enjoyed reading this, Preston- thank you for your investigations into these cases."

"Really a fun book! I've read a bunch of UFO books over the years and really enjoyed this one."

"Get ready for an amazing adventure. Preston Dennett has done it again! His 20th book causes a person to sit back and reflect on the provocative experiences people have had with their UFO encounters. Preston is a first class word-smith who takes the written word and weaves it into a magical tapestry. I strongly recommend 'Inside UFOs' to anyone with an interest or who has experiences in the phenomena."
--Review, Amazon
"I loved reading this book! The stories on this book were all very interesting. That made the entire book super-engaging to me. Finishing reading it made me want to read more from this author. I'm glad that there were more titles available an I have started reading "Not from Here..."
--Review, Amazon
"Recommended for the UFO afficianados. Nothing can convince a UFO skeptic. For the rest of us this book does have a ring of truth. The book is an anthology of anecdotes from those who claim, perhaps reluctantly, to be UFO contactees or abductees. In most books of this nature, the details usually follow similar patterns. This book relates incidents that dovetail the usual as well as describing incidents that are unique."
--Gil Garver, Amazon

"A good, worthwhile read, Preston has done a great job collecting details from abductees. And trust to not intrude, but let the experiance of the experiancer come through. What he presents does not fit our ideas often and that points out the huge gulf between our cultural understanding of how things work and that of advanced cultures of the ETs."
--Robert, Amazon
"Interesting and believable...Well researched factual reports of interviews with abductees. This book adds to the warehouse of information that is available about encounters with extraterrestrials. A good read for those who are trying to figure out what is going on."

"An amazing book."
--John Ilias, Dr. J. Radio Live.
"I had no idea ETs have a shrinking technology to shrink things/people/ship which I found fascinating in this book. The author covers topics such as ET odors, their interference in our launching of rockets, if you seek ETs they will seek you, stealing flowers/plants to study, angle hair, rescuing people when shipwrecked, breathing pools (submerging people in a pool of liquid which surprisingly humans can breath while being submerged, bitter/sweet alien drinks given to abductees. The author wondered why certain people were rescued at sea and not all. I think it has to do with who is related to them. They rescue their own kind."

Not from Here: Volume 1
"Preston Dennett is one of the Best Ufologists out there. I heard Preston speak at the 2015 MUFON Symposium, and was so impressed with his no nonsense, 'just the facts' manner, that I've been systematically reading through his many published works. 'Not From Here' is an Excellent (1st in a series) collection of various articles Preston has written over the years. From Alien encounters in the quickie-mart, to UFOs over Graveyards, Preston covers it all. A really fun book, as UFO books go. The research is impeccable, the writing lucid and enjoyable. I'd recommend 'Not From Here' to anyone interested in the UFO phenomena. 5 easy stars!
--Earl Gray, Amazon
"This book was very interesting! It was based on actual verified cases, and not speculation from the author's point of view. It is very meaty, especially when you consider the bargain price. It was better than a lot of other books I purchased on this subject, and paid more for. The author also talks about his experiences as well. I really enjoyed reading this book."
--Carol Wong, Amazon
"Very good and informative book. Been reading about this subject for many years and still this book contained many interesting cases from different time periods that I hadn't heard about. I'd define it as an UFO encyclopedia."

"I am deeply interested in the UFO phenomenon, having had a few (non-sensational) brushes with UFO's myself. I liked this book...Some of the stories are known to some of us, others are scary -- I found the seemingly unfeeling cruelty of the USAF more terrifying than the aliens. It's very clear that aliens of different types, in vehicles which vary in appearance, ARE visiting this planet. The military of many countries probably know it's all true, but they will deny it to the end."
--Zuri, Amazon
"Preston Dennett is like an artist weaving at a starlit loom. He carefully caresses the strands of the story then begins constructing a fabric of great interest to the UFO believers - and non believers alike. I strongly recommend "Not From Here." --Stan E. Hughes

UFOs over Nevada
"For the flying-saucer enthusiast, this compilation of Nevada-related UFO incidents is a fascinating, fun read that fills in a lot of gaps in the State's history of possible extraterrestrial activity. After reading this, you may want to reconsider inexplicable occurrences that have taken place in your own past. It also provides a deeper -- and unsettling -- view of what allegedly has been and is taking place at the notorious Area 51, part of the sprawling Nevada Test Site (now the Nevada National Security Site). MUFON Field Investigator Preston Dennett delivers the goods. You definitely want to add this book to your reference shelf."
--Suzanne Bredlau Turgeon, Amazon
"There are millions of UFO reports, many of them documented on the endless stream of the internet. However, trying to narrow them down to a specific area can be difficult. Thankfully Preston Dennett has come to the rescue if you're looking for UFO reports from certain areas of the world. I first discovered his books via the Topanga Canyon edition. The Nevada edition was quickly added to my Amazon wishlist and gifted as a birthday gift. Like the Topanga Canyon edition, the Nevada one chronicles UFO reports, both large and small, from over the decades, including ones that take place in the heart of Las Vegas. This book also includes photographs and a sizable chapter on Nevada's other famous landmark, Area 51. The book is beautifully and sympathetically put together with no hint of malice or disdain towards those who've made the reports. It's a book that's now been added to my ever expanding UFO collection and I've just ordered the California edition. I hope to see many more of these books, including updated editions, in the years to come. Five stars."

UFOs over New Mexico
"New Mexico, known as the Land of Enchantment, certainly figures prominently into ufological history. Besides such legendary cases and controversies as Socorro and Roswell, there are innumerable and equally puzzling and thought-provoking and yet lesser known case histories of high-strangeness that this investigative author succeeds in bringing to light. There are recounted plenty of close encounter cases, including physical injury events, entity sightings, contacts and abductions, and peculiar cattle mutilations, plus quite a few encounter events around military facilities, including other UFO “crash” reports besides Roswell. New Mexico even has its equivalent to West Virginia’s Mothman, nick-named by many Owl-man in the Land of Enchantment. This book is loaded with fascinating eyewitness accounts, credible people describing incredible sights, and there are a few anomalous photographs included. If you’re not already a resident, you just might want to plan your next vacation around some of these sites and hot spots in New Mexico!"

"In the 1970's, I had a friend whose brother lived in Albuquerque attending the University of New Mexico. I was offered a place to stay in the city by my friend's brother if I wanted to attend UNM. Since I was finishing up an AA at a community college in New Jersey, I decided to apply to UNM and accept the offer of a place to break into New Mexico life. Of course, I was thrilled about the prospect of attending a large university like UNM, but I was secretly thrilled about something else. I had been reading about UFO's since the late 1950's and was well aware of New Mexico's unique history in ufology, I was thrilled that I might finally get to see one at the U.S. epicenter of the UFO phenomenon - New Mexico. Preston Dennett does a superb job of bringing this unique history to light. This book transcends a regional interest in the phenomenon since New Mexico is one of the most visited states of all of them and has a history of sightings that run the gamut from nocturnal lights to close encounters and crash retrievals. Anyone who is interested in the UFO phenomenon should be aware of its history in the state of New Mexico; it is as central and as important to the UFO phenomenon as Gettysburg is to the Civil War, Verdun is to World War I, or Normandy is to World War II. I thoroughly enjoyed and was well informed of a whole slew of sightings and incidents that I had never heard of before. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the UFO phenomenon and wants to achieve a deeper understanding of unique the importance of the state to the totality of the phenomenon. Although I lived in Albuquerque from 1976 to 1981, I never got a chance to have my own sighting, but I did get a chance to explore one of my other passions - spaghetti westerns. I also learned exactly why it is called, appropriately, the Land of Enchantment. Maybe it's not just us terrestrial folks who are enchanted by it."

"From the Roswell crash to the Farmington Wave, this book has it all. I really loved the crashed UFO chapter. I'm a big fan of Landings and onboard encounters chapters also. He also covers cattle mutilations and the Taos hum. I love Preston Dennett's work."

Bigfoot, Yeti and Other Ape-Men
"I read this book to see how it compared to the many others I have on the subject. It is done succinctly and to the point, covering all aspects of this creature. Most of the stories were new to me; even though I thought I had seen almost every sighting report out there. This is really a great overview that will introduce a young adult or an older person to this new subject. Preston Dennett reports everything concerning Bigfoot, including controversial topics such as the UFO connection and telepathy. Most Sasquatch authors shy away from discussing this part of the phenomena because they think it will diminish the authenticity they are trying to present. It doesn't. It proves that there is a lot more to this creature that we don't know about; whether it's physical or paranormal. A great beginner's guide."

" I'm working on a school report on Bigfoot. It's this year project for grade 5. It's a great book, can't put it down. My assignment is going to be very interesting and everyone is going to love reading it."

UFOs and Aliens
"UFOs and Aliens" is a great book for anyone who wants to learn all about unidentified flying objects and aliens, because it is interesting to read and gives a lot of information. Dennett gives the reader a concise history of UFO phenomenon from ancient times to the present, and quotes some of the people who actually saw them. He also explains what happened during some of the most notable UFO sightings in recent history, including landings and abductions. The book also includes information about government cover-ups, crashed saucers and theories about what the aliens are doing. Every chapter has illustrations and information for the reader, including examples of the different types of aliens and UFOs, the 10 signs of an abduction, and what to do if you see a UFO. The book also has a glossary, and lists books, organizations and websites, for further study.
--Jeanne Coppola, Amazon.com
"This is a concise and entertaining overview of UFOs and ufology by a UFO enthusiast. Covers the evidence for UFOs from prehistoric times until present day encounters. Illustrates the encounters with lots of famous examples. Mentions intriguing phenomena about UFOs, like the different theories about who the aliens are, different categories of aliens, "alien implants" in human abductees, and the terrifying "Men in Black" who confiscate evidence of UFOs. While the author takes a pro-UFO stand, he mentions when skeptics have been critical of the evidence. A good elementary introduction to UFOs that will wet your appetite for more."

UFOs over New York
"This was again an excellent summary of UFO and related cases from the state of New York, following in the foot steps of "UFOs over California". There will never be a full account of cases from every state, we can only try, and Mr. Dennett has certainly given it a shot."
--Albert S Rosales, Amazon

"Facts, facts, facts...there is no doubt that extraterrestrial encounters happened back 150 years ago, and still occur today. The author recaps stories of UFOs and that of many abductions from the New York area...It leaves one wondering why the governments have gone to such lengths to ignore and deny reports. It also makes me wonder who these beings are, where they are from, what their goals are, and what could happen over time...I will watch the skies more closely now.

"An excellent read for those interested in sightings in the Empire State. Stories new and old, plus some pre-digital era photographs make it worth the time."

UFOs over California
"I recommend this well researched book....[It] is a valuable contribution to our knowledge of UFOs and it is also an entertaining read.
--Roundtown UFO Society
"UFO's Over California is Preston Dennett's most comprehensive work in the field of UFOlogy to date. While his previous books on this subject focused on one aspect of the subject matter, his latest covers all grounds. From UFO sighting to abductions, extraterrestrial healings to the contactee movement, UFO landings to crashes, celebrity craft sightings to alien implants; everything you need to know about UFOlogy is covered here. Again, Preston presents the material in a non-biased format; he neither preaches nor debunks; you are given the facts of the situations at hand and left to conjure your own conclusions. Two of the highlights here are the California Airship Mystery and the Battle of Los Angeles, a tremendous UFO encounter during World War II in which the military actually fired upon the craft and in which photographs were published in newspapers at the time. The fact that this monumental event remains obscure boggles the mind, but thankfully Preston presents it in this magnificent volume in full detail. Along with One in Forty: The UFO Epidemic, Extraterrestrial Visitations, UFO Healings, California ghosts, Out Of Body Exploring, and UFO's Over Topanga Canyon, UFO's Over California solidifies Preston Dennett's position as one of the most prominent researchers in the field of both UFOlogy and the paranormal."
--John Stone (UFO/ghost researcher)
"Preston Dennett has done it again. This book contains a great deal of information on the full range of UFO experiences reported in California, including the Topanga Canyon wave, USOs (unidentified submersible objects), the Contactee Movement, abductions, landings and possible crash retrievals, Dr. Roger Leir's implant surgeries and more. The highlight of the book, however, is the art, and this book has quite a lot of it. Kesara is a talented illustrator and this book contains many of her best illustrations of UFO sightings and alien encounters...The images accurately evoke the feelings associated with the encounter experience, and by comparing her drawings of aliens with her drawings of humans (given that we all know what humans look like), one can "reverse-engineer" them to get a sense of what the aliens might look like without the imprint of Kesara's unique style. The UFO experience is primarily visual (objects and strange beings are *seen* and described by witnesses) so the use of art to convey the experience is important. The book also contains several photographs of craft-like UFOs allegedly seen over California, including reprints of the famous Rex Heflin photos. All told, the book is an important contribution to the UFO literature."
--David Chace (UFO Researcher)
"UFOs Over California by Preston Dennett is somewhat of an encyclopedic compilation of UFO History in general, and events throughout the State of California in conjunction with that history....I found the book an enjoyable and informative read, and would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in the on-going history of this enigma which still continues even as I write."

"For those who deny the reality of this phenomenon, please don't bother those of us that accept it. Just go on to some other subject. This is not a book for you. Those of us, in the millions, who are aware of the reality of UFOs and do not wish to argue the point anymore will find this book interesting. I for one do not care to debate the reality issue anymore. As far as I know, Preston Dennett has set a precedent here by writing a documentary account of sightings and personal experiences with the UFO presence expressly in California. He has sited Blue Book cases, books, magazines, and newspaper articles and given us an entertaining and sometimes spine-tingling accounting of that extensive research. I read through this book relatively fast as I found it absorbing and enlightening. The documentation is thorough, Dennett is not making these stories up! If you are a California resident and have interest in the subject matter, I recommend this book wholeheartedly. It was interesting to read the history of my particular area of California, and thought provoking to get a concept of how the phenomenon has progressed and become more overt over time. The book exposes a wide range of interesting cases from the very southern tip of California to the Oregon coast. I found this book well worth the price. Thank you Mr. Dennett!

"This book was logically organized, and presented with a vocabulary that gripped your attention from the getgo. If even 1/20th of what the author says is true (and the evidence says it is), we are on the verge of being merged with societies of extraterrestials that we know nothing about, even if the military knows something about the equipment that they use. It is past time for the military to come clean and get our sociologists and psychologists to studying these societies. Otherwise, the human race has a disaster in the making."

Human Levitation: A True History & How-to Guide
“Marvelously well-written. A scholarly treatment of a very real and very unusual phenomenon."
--Jeff Rense, Jeff Rense Show
"I devoured every word and was informed and entertained...There IS a section devoted to the most popular historical methods of achieving levitation, but even if it is possible the author makes it clear that levitation will not be easily attained. Much more interesting to me were the historical cases presented--I had no idea so many persons in history were famous for levitating. The stories were well researched and sources footnoted. There are pictures, not many, but they added interest. The author thinks there is good evidence for the reality of levitation, and he makes a convincing case. I don't know if it is really possible or not, but I had an enormous amount of fun reading about it and savoring the possibility."
--Scott B Kelley (Review, Amazon.com)
“I have always been fascinated by the possibility of human ‘superpowers’ with levitation being, in many ways, the coolest of the lot. So, when I stumbled on a reference to this book, I was immediately intrigued. I first read the book's Introduction at the author's website and decided to go ahead and buy the book because the writing was first-rate and very engaging, which is the first thing I look for. The book itself does not disappoint in content either. The book represents an immense amount of research and yet is presented with such clarity and simplicity that it would be easy for the reader to overlook the scholarly-ness of the author's efforts. I found all of it quite fascinating. As for the question of the book as a how-to manual....this volume will give you the lay of the land as far as those who have succeeded before and possible avenues of approach. For those who are serious about the endeavor, even the smallest reference or word here and there may trigger a realization that will help you on the path. Such nuggets of truth are definitely sprinkled throughout this fine work."

Out-of Body Exploring: A Beginner’s Approach
“A very valuable book…it deserves a wide audience.”

“An out-of-body experience is a kind of astro projection where the subject seems to leave their physical body and forays into a real of expanded consciousness, viewing their environment with an awareness that is both familiar and strange for extended periods of time. Preston Dennett began his explorations beyond the physical body some twenty years earlier in an attempt to contact his deceased mother. Drawing upon hundreds of out-of-body experiences (OBE) lasting anywhere from a few seconds to several hours, Dennett now shares his experiences and provides an instructive "how to" manual for others to go out-of-body themselves, while maintaining control and an awareness for extended periods of time. Out-Of-Body Exploring: A Beginner's Approach is a unique and enthusiastically recommended addition to personal reading lists and Metaphysical Studies reference collections."

“Pretty interesting! Dennett gets ideas from the ‘old classics’ and then applies these ideas to his practice to see what results he gets. It’s cool to read about. It’s nice to see another person actually trying what other authors have suggested, and reporting on how well it worked, or what happened…overall the information is useful, and it’s worth the read for those searching for consistency between OBE researchers.”

"[The book's] forthright presentation of Dennett’s experiences as well as its simple, clear discussion of methods may well motivate some readers to give OBEs a try. Out-of-Body Exploring commingles the difficulty of achieving the out-of-body state with important insights and ingenious solutions.....The fact that Dennett did not use Hemi-Sync [audio tapes to assist in the production of out-of-body experiences] makes the book more authentically what it sets out to be—an account of one man’s dogged struggle to explore beyond the physical and the great success he eventually achieved. Because Dennett did it the hard way, Out-of-Body Exploring is all the more worth reading. Though subtitled A Beginner’s Approach, it offers a model for developing one’s own abilities to the expert level, and its frankness about the difficulty of consciousness on the astral plane provides a helpful reality check for those who are not psychic prodigies."

"I know a select group of people who can travel out of their bodies, a skill I have as of yet not been able to control or have too much success with. Fascinated, I longed to know how they did it. Other books have been written about OBEs, or Out Of Body Experiences, but were usually dry texts filled with someone else's experiences. What I loved about Preston Dennett's Out-Of-Body Exploring is that it is filled instead with very personal experiences direct from the guy experiencing them, including tips and techniques for attempting the very same OBE he has had and is now able to control. Written with a personal warmth and honesty, Dennett's book documents his own discovery of his ability to leave his body during lucid dreaming, and beyond, and those personal accounts are fascinating and enlightening. The author's own journey becomes our own as we read about his attempts to first understand, then take control of, this newfound ability which often shocked and surprised him. Most interesting are his encounters with those that have passed on, his ability to see into the future and access the Akashic Records, and the surprising link between sexual energy and OBEs, which I found utterly intriguing. This is a great book for anyone who wants to learn to travel to realms unimagined, or is just beginning to make those amazing discoveries of what lies beyond the physical, waking reality. Dennett is a great guide, compassionate, humorous at times, and always deeply personal, insightful and wise. He, after all, has been there, done that!

"For serious persons seeking serious, sensible thinking about the meaning and purpose of life -- and about the possible survival of consciousness after the physical body fails -- this book is not to be missed. If your belief system posits a standard Heaven where the spirits of dead friends and family chat with each other and possibly Jesus and angels for all eternity, then possibly you should pass up the insights presented here. But if you suspect there is something more to be learned, then you owe it to yourself to check this out."

"It is plainly obvious to me that Mr. Dennett's experiences are authentic, having done much development along these lines, over time, myself. This is notably an intimate account of what one experiences during the stops and starts, lulls, and incredible accelerations, particular nuances and gradual transformations that occur when one takes on this type of development, as well as the methods for encouraging them. His account is not sensationalistic. Even when describing his encounters with the wild inclinations of the "desire body", he makes note that he eventually transcends this stage, once he arrives at a point where much of this activity runs its course and is replaced by more useful pursuits that contribute to his spiritual growth. Some of the most useful aspects of reading the book was to learn the author's means of not only differentiating between varying, and difficult to define, states of reality and consciousness one might encounter, but also how to use triggers and mechanisms to shift from one to the other, and to do so with skill and consciousness. I would not say that the book is truly a beginner's book because it is written from the perspective of one who knows, instead of taking into account what the beginner's mind is really like when approaching this work. But not much would be required, through a bit of basic experience and research, to get to know what Mr. Dennett is describing....So far, I have only read two-thirds of Dennett's book, but am very anxious to see where he goes from here. Having been a dancer for 45 years, I know that the subconscious can take on incredibly intricate skills concerned with style, and the coordination of motor skills and reflex, just by passive observation of other dancers in motion. Reading a book like this, seems to do the same, when it comes to re-enlivening neurons, necessary subtle and profound connections, and the inspiration that are so necessary to proficiency in the astral art."

"I have several out-of-body books and this is one of my favorites. It's the only one that I find myself laughing out loud while reading. I love the author's descriptions of his lack of self control in his earlier out-of-body experiences. I'm actually buying this book a second time now because I let my daughter read my first one and she liked it so much that she wants to keep it."

"I was prepared to be disappointed since I have read almost 200 books on this topic. But this was really excellent and his down to earth explanations, experiences and conjectures were very readable and helpful. His experiences matched some of my own which is always good to read in another's account. Thoroughly recommended!"

"This book is great for anyone who is interested in OBE's. It's not only very informative but it is written on a very personal, sincere level. Preston Dennett writes as if you are in the middle of a good conversation. Moreover, it is the only OBE book to ever make me laugh. There are some very humorous descriptions about some of his experiences while out of body. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in projection...It's the most enjoyable and refreshing OBE book I've ready yet."

"This was a good short book on lucid dreaming, astral and/or OBE. I've read other books on the subject, but this would be a good one to begin with. The practical advice is concise and to the point. I've started practicing again recently and decided to read something to help me with the practice. I had similar experiences as the author, it was quite interesting to read."

"Really interesting ideas on the subject of astral dreaming."
--Rena (Review, Goodreads.com)
"Not long ago I went into my metaphysical library and spotted an OBE book I couldn't recall ever reading. It was from 2004, a book called Out-of-Body Exploring by Preston Dennett. I just finished it, and here's my review. First of all, there's a good amount of content. This is not one of those lightweight OBE books. It's 182 pages. The font is a little on the small size, but that's a good thing: there is lots of information packed in, and no wasted space. I liked Dennett's style and what he was saying right from the start. First, he agreed that OBEs and Lucid Dreams are two distinct things, although they're related. As early as page 2, he states: 'The main difference between the two, I think, is that with out-of- body experiences, you perceive the environment outside of you as being externally created and independent of mental influences. In lucid dreams, your environment is internally created, and is composed of mental projections.' (pg. 2)
"That's very well put and it's what I've been saying for years. Later, he echoes my sentiments exactly: 'In the lucid-dream state, we become aware that we are in fact manifesting our thoughts, and we can manipulate the dream state, thereby exploring the inner world. The out-of-body state is the flip side--you explore the outer world.' (pg. 45)
"Another important point he makes is that it's easy to transition from a lucid dream to an OBE. So one way to have an OBE is to first induce a Lucid Dream, then dispel the self-created hallucination of the dream. He offers solid advice on the first part, inducing the lucid dream: 'I am convinced that critical thinking is essential to becoming lucid and having out-of-body experiences. By keeping a constant awareness of where you are and what you are doing, you carry this attitude into the dream state, and hopefully not only remember what you are doing, but become aware of it while it is happening.' (pg. 10)
"He also talks about inducing OBEs that don't start as LDs. For example: 'What worked best for me seems to be a combination of intense willpower, desire, focus and intent. Only by obsessing myself with the subject was I able to generate out-of-body events. (pg. 8)
This goes back to the subject of motivating the subconscious mind. That's why I like to read so many OBE books: it feeds my obsession and keeps my subconscious mind trained on the idea of leaving my body. It really does help, especially for beginners. Dennett gives lots of very short OBE narrations to illustrate the points he makes. It's not only effective at driving his point home, it also brings OBE images to your mind that influence and motivate your subconscious. I really appreciate that, and it's uncommon in the genre. I can't stress this point enough: Reading OBE narrations like this makes you imagine yourself in out-of-body scenarios, and that goes straight to your subconscious mind and helps make OBEs more likely. In the beginning, many of his narrations illustrate the same kind of beginner problems I wrote about, like (1) difficulty maintaining lucidity and control, (2) encountering barriers, (3) learning to control emotions, (4) the almost irresistible joy of flying, and so forth. That gave the book a feeling of genuineness. It was quite amusing to hear about his playfully gobbling up astral food or going berserk and destroying things in a grocery store. At least until he learned control.
"The book has many fascinating experiments, ranging from the simple to the complex. Some of his many experiments include trying to sing, making his astral arms melt away, trying to visit the site of the Titanic, flying to the moon, visiting the Akashic library, time travel, talking to his dead mom, trying to meet God, and many many more. They're all very fascinating. It's not simple wish-fulfillment or fantasy, because most of the experiments yielded unexpected results and in many cases, he did not achieve his goal. One of his experiments had veridical evidence: on page 75, he described flying under a bridge at the L.A. river which has banks lined with concrete. In the out-of-body state, he saw what looked like two feet of dirt lining the banks. After the OBE, he visited the site physically and was shocked to find dirt lining the banks at that exact spot. This seemed to suggest that his OBE was "real" because what he witnessed directly contradicted both his knowledge and his expectations.
"Also, I like his style. Dennett isn't dictating facts as an expert. He writes like we're all on the same team, and he often quotes several other OBE authors (William Buhlman, Robert Bruce, Sylvan Muldoon, and much to my surprise, even me!) to explain a point. It makes the discussion seem very homogeneous and not self-centered....The part I liked best (besides the narrations) was actually the epilogue. It's kind of like an "Oh my God, I almost forgot to say this" section. He tightly crams a lot of spiritual stuff in that one small chapter. Here's just one small example to give you the flavor: 'Today, nearly twenty years of out-of-body experiences has taught me many things. Like most projectors, I learned early on that privacy is an illusion. I learned that the universe is far more vast than I can possibly imagine. I learned that beliefs unsupported by experience can lead to delusion and retard your spiritual growth. I learned that thoughts and emotions have far-reaching effects.' (pg. 174)
"From the office of the grammar Nazi: this book is very well written, clear, concise, and easy to understand. The flow and organization are professional. Its grammar and spelling at both perfect; I did not find one single mistake or typo, and believe me, that's very rare indeed. I really enjoyed this OBE book and give it a big thumbs up."

California Ghosts: True Accounts of Hauntings in the Golden State
“A must-read…I really do recommend that you read this. It is pretty spine-tingling.”

"Preston Dennett is a UFOlogist and author of such classic books as UFO's Over Topanga Canyon and One in Forty: The UFO Epidemic. His latest work strays from the territory of unidentified flying objects and delves straight in to a more ethereal realm: true cases of hauntings in the state of California. Mr. Dennett wastes no time in calculating absurd theories like most authors who litter the store shelves with their outrageous scribblings. He jumps straight in to the facts, giving the reader everything he or she needs to know in order to come to their own conclusions. He even reports on a well known haunting related to the Charles Manson family murders in the late 1960's, something eerily reminescent of the Amityville case. As all of Mr. Dennett's case presentations take place in California, hence the title of the book, it is undoubted that readers who dwell in the Golden State themselves will find this book particularly interesting, though the locale does not diminish interest for those outside the area. It is extremely well written and the cases are presented in a straight, factual manner; Preston does not offer preposterous claims of knowing the secret to the ethereal realm and the basis behind the all-too-often mention White Light. This is not his business. He is an investigator and leaves it up to you, the reader, to draw your on conclusions based on the facts that he presents. An excellent compilation of true haunting cases and a welcomed edition to any reader who is interested in this aspect of the paranormal.

Extraterrestrial Visitations: True Accounts of Contact
“A damn good book. This one’s a honey.”
--Whitley Strieber

“Dennett allows the witnesses to tell their own stories, but provides commentary to put the accounts into perspective...those new to the field [and] veteran ufologists should find the accounts interesting.”

“An informative read…refreshing…there is a lot to like about this book…It is of great interest, as well as being extremely important for the public to hear directly from the experiencers of this phenomenon. A ‘special thanks’ goes to Preston for making that happen.”

"This book is not a "blockbuster". It is humble and honest rather than sensationalistic. It is short and can easily be read in an afternoon. The author thankfully doesn't spend a lot of time defending his belief in the existence of UFOs. This book is a collection of several reports in the first person of the people who experienced the events. It covers many different types of missing time, sightings, abduction/visitor contacts, alien "exams"...in short, the usual. What I liked about it was that it didn't have a lot of editorializing. It just let the peoples' experiences speak for themselves. I like to read reports such as this because I have experienced several incidences of "high strangeness" in my life and I enjoy comparing notes with others to learn if others have experienced what I have. This book relates the words of average people living normal lives who have been in touch with something they cannot fully explain....It is just plain interesting, well paced, well written and fair-minded. It doesn't come across with dire predictions, conspiracy theories or any sweeping statements about the close encounter experience. The author has done the investigating, talked with the people and now shares with the reader so that we can piece this information together with our own understanding and insight. I appreciate it for what it is and recommend it if you are in the process of learning and investigating this phenomenon."

"This is a good book for people interested in ufos and abductions. The author has a good style of writing and lets the people who have lived through these experiences, speak for themselves in the book. Preston lets you make up your own mind about the cases, instead of TELLING you what they mean and forcing a particular point of view on you like a lot of books and authors out there (David Jacobs, Stephen Greer, and others). I for one recommend it.

"I found it well done, and I'm not alone---it is widely thought of, in the circle of ufology, as a good book. Preston Dennett is a UFO field invesitagtor, and to that end, he acts first and foremost as a reporter of these strange events. So many UFO related books today are written with constant interjection of the author's own theories and speculations about what the phenomena means, while Mr. Dennett prefers to report the facts as they are given to him by the experiencers themselves. Mr. Dennett also is among the most ego-less researchers in the field today. He does not preach, he does not argue from authority, he does not wildy speculate on when the Grey's will take over the Earth, he does not tell us that we have to behave like good little children or the aliens will not welcome us into the "Galactic Federation," he simply states facts as they are given to him.
Some awfully strange things have happened in and near Topanga Canyon, things that cannot be explained as swamp gas, misidentified airplanes, or the planet Venus. If your interested in UFOs and UFO research, I recommend you add this book to your library."
--Review, Amazon.com
"Preston Dennett is a great writer and an even better UFOlogist. He offers you eyewitness testimony and lets you draw your own conclusion of what happened to these people. No bias here. No leading the readers' opinion down a winding path littered with contradictions and biased beliefs. He truly allows you to develop your own opinion and this is something we need a hell of a lot more of in UFOlogy. The book details a massive UFO wave that took place in Topanga Canyon, California in the early 1990's and some say even continues to this day. The Topanga area is undoubtedly immersed within plenty of bizarre occurrences; UFO sightings, abduction reports, strange lights in the skies, poltergeist activities, etc. I saw this book in Barnes & Noble's bookstore whilst perusing their metaphysical section with my girlfriend at the time. My eyes caught the title: UFO's Over Topanga Canyon and I knew immediately this would be of interest to me. I have family living in and around Topanga Canyon including a grandmother that literally lives right on the edge of the town, on Mulholland Way. I've been to Topanga Canyon countless times and have experienced bizarre situations my self, so reading this book brought me an overwhelming sense of joy getting to know just what it is that's going on in this little town. Preston Dennett is a UFOlogist to consider; he knows the field better than most, has a great talent at presenting the facts as they are and letting you draw your own conclusion, and also happens to be one of the nicest, kindest, most sincere people I've met. I recommend his works to anyone, interested or not. If you are interested in this phenomena, Preston will indeed give you the facts, nothing more, nothing less, and let you decide on your own what is going on. If you've never immersed your self in UFOlogy or the metaphysical, do your self a favor and pick up this or any of Preston Dennett's other works; I guarantee you'll walk away a changed individual. "

I recently became fascinated by Topanga and, while listening to a radio show, this book was mentioned. So I decided to give it a go. One in Forty: The UFO Epidemic
“Preston Dennett introduces a wide range of characters who recount in their own words real-life UFO encounters and other mysterious happenings. After reading this book, the question you might ask of yourself is: Might you one day be one in forty?”
--UFO Magazine
“Author’s own investigations of true close encounters -- the kind of generalized reportage we don’t often see in UFO literature anymore...First hand accounts.”
--Bob Girard
(Arcturus Books)
"I for one am getting sick and tired of all these so-called Ufologists out there speculating on everything under the sun, in regard to UFOs and extraterrestrials. If you are too, then this book is for you! You have to admire Preston Dennett's style. He is a straight-to the-point reporter of facts. If you're looking for the latest speculation on when the aliens will welcome us into the galactic federation, or how we need to shape up before they come and destroy us, or why the aliens are stealing our babies and creating chimeras with them, then buy something else. If you want to read about personal encounter experiences, with no fluff or b.s. interjected, or worse yet, shoved in your face, then Mr. Preston Dennett is the author for you. Bottom line is this: If your sole interest in UFOs is for their entertainment value, or how much the author can shock you, then get a subscription to the Weekly World News instead of buying some of these wacko books out there--it's cheaper in the long run, and the newspapers will burn better when the Grey's come shut and off our nasty fossil fuel supply. If, on the other hand, you are interested in researching these things to try to understand what in heck is really going on out there, if you would like to know the truth, if you take these experiences seriously, then this is a great book for you. No totally ridiculous, off the wall theories, just the facts."
--Review, Amazon.com
"This book is full of many alien encounter stories that I bet most people have never heard about....The author went to a lot of trouble making this book- he must have interviewed everyone he put in the book, which is a lot of people by the way....
So, if you wan't to get an overload of fresh alien witness accounts, then this book is for you....Overall, this book is essential for its accounts."

UFO Healings: True Accounts of People Healed by Extraterrestrials
“Dennett’s work helps clear the way for all of us to benefit from these highly unusual but enlightening experiences by reducing the fear factor. His work indicates there is a delicate balance between opposing forces of dark and light quietly working with humanity...”
--Robert Stanley
(Unicus Magazine)
“An important ground-breaking work characterized by rich detail and thoughtful analysis. An admirable job.”

(Univ. of N. Dakota)
“[Dennett] has carved out a niche in the UFO literature....It’s a genuine service to the field to finally have all these cases collected between two covers.”
--Dennis Stacey
(Mufon UFO Journal)
“This is a remarkable book....the author has done what evidently no one else has done: single out for attention the beneficial effects that may result from UFO encounters...the truth within these pages will speak clearly to your inner sense of knowing. Something important is evidently going on here.”
--John Beresford M.D.
“Dennett’s book serves as an excellent source for those interested in pursuing the subject of alien healing....a welcome addition to the bookshelf for those interested in further plumbing the depths of the fascinating abductor/alien phenomenon."
--John Chambers

“I urge you all to buy this book. I think you will find that it’s different from the run of the mill UFO account book, and entertaining. I enjoyed it very much.”

“A tremendous amount of research has been done to bring this book together....I highly recommend this book. It could be of benefit to anyone who knows or thinks they are a contactee or an abductee.”

“A very important and groundbreaking work.”

“It was particularly refreshing to discover a book that has collated the more positive and arguably ‘benevolent’ aspects of ‘extraterrestrial beings,’ although Preston does not attempt to use his finding to join those who entrench themselves in one of the two extreme camps -- ‘All aliens are evil or all aliens are benevolent.’ In fact I was surprised at the scientific/objective style that Preston adopts and maintains, but at the same time avoiding a ‘dry research document’ style of writing. This is a book you can either read from cover to cover or dip into as and when you please.”

"This is required reading for all people who want to know more about the aliens in the UFOs. UFO Healings clearly documents over 100 accounts of people being healed of every conceivable illness, which clearly indicates that the good alien might be more accurate than accounts of alien takeover of earth. As far as I know this is the only book written on the subject of UFO related healings. I and other UFO researchers have come across similar healing claims made by witnesses, but have wondered how common the healing phenomena is. Preston Dennett shows that it is very common. The aliens know something about advanced medicine and this book contributes greatly to pointing out that fact and that further research may lead us to advance our own medicine.

"Really can't stop reading this. Have been searching for this subject for awhile and this is well written. It will expand your horizons."

"This book is genuine and interesting to read. Preston actually gives opinions and ideas about why aliens are healing people with their advanced medical knowledge. He also states that lots of people have been healed, and this is really interesting, because not too much is written on this subject, and I believe it should be investigated more openly. I really liked the artwork, for each chapter. It made the book more enjoyable. I especially liked the illustration for Chapter 1, because it seemed so real. I stared at it for a long time."

"I like reading about accounts of where aliens have healed humans or done other good things. I'm so tired of hearing people say aliens are evil or fallen angels or demons. Is it really hard to believe that there are other living beings on other planets and they could be good?? Just because we don't know anything about them does NOT mean they are evil or fallen angels! And as for the experiments or examinations they do to humans on their spaceships, how do we know they're doing bad things to us?? They could be checking us for diseases or helping us and we just don't realize it because we've never seen their tools and equipment. If an alien were to come to Earth and be abducted by humans and examined, I'm sure the alien would probably feel we were evil beings doing painful things to him, too! Anyway, this book is refreshing in that it presents the reader with several examples of where aliens have done good things for us. They have scanned human bodies and discovered a disease in the body, then proceeded to treat it. Actually make the disease disappear from the body. And for Free! That's more than what most human doctors will do!! Human doctors prefer to give you an expensive prescription that only temporarily makes you feel good, then send you out the door...I liked the book. I wish there were more extraterrestrial books about GOOD things aliens have done. Perhaps this is a reason why aliens limit their contact with us. Because humans are too quick to accuse them of being evil, instead of wanting to actually know them as people."

“Dennett’s work helps clear the way for all of us to benefit from these highly unusual but enlightening experiences by reducing the fear factor. His work indicates there is a delicate balance between opposing forces of dark and light quietly working with humanity...”
